Since the two currently available gas engine options of Jeep Grand Cherokee have different gas recommendations and my car is a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland with 57L Hemi I want to make this thread to be specific to that engine. Ive tried Chevron and Valero. Valero was terribledropped to 16-17 mpg. Chevron was ok and resulted in 18mpg worked the best in my old WRX.
Shell results in 18-19 mpg. Octane is just a measure of knock prevention that is required for higher compression high performance engines. The 57 is right on the edge of middle performance and sort of high performance.
