My truck had under 9000 miles on it. Manual states for best performance and economy 89 recommended. I ran ever tank on my 2014 with 89.
So far every tank on 2019 is 89. The owners who feel 87 is fine I figure they sell 87 everywhere they sell 89. Seems to me theres significant reason to tune the 57 for 89.

The 57 prefers 89 octane fuel the automatic can survive on lower octane but the mileage may suffer maybe slightly If 89 is not available and you have a 6speed then go 9193 for half the tank and 87 or whatever your lower one is for the second half. Do keep in mind that 89 octane is the recommended fuel choice for optimal performance but over the 108K miles I put on my MY12 Hemi JGC I only ever bought one tank of mid-grade and that was by accident and ran 87 octane pretty much exclusively.
I use 91 octane but thats only because its non-ethanol. So yes I see slightly better mpg and truck runs very smooth on it. Its most likely due to no ethanol rather than the 91 octane though.
