Yes the Mds Is a pain I put a tester on my car 2 months agoI do have a charger but same hemicame up as 1mds solenoid mal function I canged the oil and it was a lot better but still in the 4 cylinder mode still shakes alittle So I was thinking that mabey the 1 mds Sol. Im only getting around 16 on the highway at 70mph 12 in town.
At low power the MDS only activated four cylinders.

When I had my stock exhaust on my Charger I could not really tell when the MDS kicked it. After changing my exhaust I can hear the drone of it kicking in sounds like a four-banger with dual exhaust. Then hitting the gas that nice rumble comes back when the MDS turns off.

Its supposed to be a pn 53022065BE but it came up as a discontinued number when we ordered it so all we know is that it probably has 065BE stamped on the back of the rear journal. According to one of the articles we found on these vehicles the hybrid engines came with a modified version of the cam for a passive intake with MDS but its definitely not the same as any of the other. 7 Sep 24 2017. Looking at a used MY 17 392 TA. After agreeing to purchase the car I found it has MDS.
Being a manual car I wasnt expecting this. Dealer put Cylinder Deactivation on quote and Im wondering if that was a typo as I believe MDS is NOT available on a manual car.
